CNC Machinist / Setter
Our CNC Machinist is a industry professional, skilled in setting and operating CNC lathes and /or CNC mills and other conventional machine shop equipment as well as understanding materials and metal cutting processes. They set machine tools in order to produce quality machined parts in the most efficient way working together with the manufacturing engineer and/or CNC Programmer. In addition, they are proficient with Fanuc CNC Control, G-code reading and ability to edit or write.
CNC Machinists should be trained in reading engineering drawings & specifications and have a basic knowledge of GD&T. Adhering to quality assurance procedures is mandatory; therefore our machinists must be proficient in the use of inspection tools and diligent in their documentation. Following safety procedures and rules as well as maintaining equipment and an organized work area is required.
