Manufacturing Engineering Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Anthony Machine is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician (20 available positions) to support our precision CNC customized component manufacturing operations at our San Antonio, Texas facility. This position plays a key role in developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex CNC programs and supporting high-precision production on the shop floor. Location: 1235 W Laurel Street, San Antonio (Bexar County), TX 78201 Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Description
Responsible for modifying, developing, testing, or adjusting machinery and equipment under the direction of engineers. Duties include: conducting root cause analysis, documenting results, and recommending corrective actions; testing equipment malfunctions and adjusting equipment to meet design specifications; developing and implementing standard operating procedures for Computer Numerical Control programming and manufacturing operations; assisting with and developing programming equipment tools using Computer Aided Manufacturing systems; generating documentation on manufacturing processes.
Required Education and Experience
Two years’ experience in the precision Computer Numerical Control (CNC) customized component manufacturing industry; using Computer Aided Design (CAD) / Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software to create, optimize, and troubleshoot complex CNC programs for high-precision parts; applying understanding of mechanical properties and materials and how they respond to various machining operations; diagnosing and resolving complex issues in programming and machine operation; proficiency using advanced inspection tools for verifying tight tolerances and complex geometries.
Work Environment
This role is based in a precision machining shop environment and requires close collaboration with engineers, CNC programmers, machinists, and quality personnel in a high-precision, production-driven setting.
